Time to start our Christmas Cards for 2012! I always take off December and January as there's plenty of Christmas stuff going on (or I'm exhausted from it all), but come February, it's time to begin again. Here are 2 of the cards we made this month:
Last night we held our monthly group meeting where I shared my Leadership swaps as well as loads of info from Leadership. Donna Lyons-O'Hara shared these great cards as well:
Then it was home for me to make my Valentines for my beloved bowling league!
I'm addicted to online classes - I admit it! Last week, one on www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com got started called "28 Cards in 4 Weeks." While there hasn't been anything new to me so far, it was fun to be reminded of some old techniques and had me looking through my retired stash as well - always a bonus! Here are a few:
A little masking and some Glimmer Mist:
Creating a background using paper scraps: Again using paper scraps, this time more neatly. Note the Sale-a-Bration papers and ribbons! Clean & Simple trees! And that old favorite frame - just a ruler and black marker! And for my Valentine, I used an old rub-on. How I miss those! Enjoy!!
One of the highlights of any Stampin' Up! event is the swapping! Here are a few that my roommate Loree got (well, she made the roses and I swapped them out for her while she ate breakfast!!!):
Lovin' this little typewriter and just got this set to make cards for my journalism major son!!!
Simple yet effective!
And i just LOVE penguins!!!!!!
