We celebrated Heather's 50th birthday last night with a wonderful Mexican themed dinner complete with margueritas and sombreros. Here is my fun card for her as well as a group photo, and our hostess Denise in her son's taco costume!!! Truly a fun party!!!

Thankfully there was a display of completed items as there was NO WAY we could finish them all (and not just me, either!!!). We even had a little note from Shelli telling us that which really took the pressure off. More tomorrow!

So I was blessed with an awesome roommate, Loree Mezzanatto, who is a former Advisory Board member. Aside from her being just like me - naps, no standing in line, sitting in the balcony, etc.- she knows a LOT of people and never hesitated to include me! She often hangs out with CFO (and former NY Yankee pitcher) Scott Nielson, and we went two-stepping and out to dinner with him. What a wonderful experience! Thank you Loree and Scott!!!!
So I did what I said I would do - I took a Segway tour of San Antonio. I wanted the ghost tour but that wasn't in my (personal) guide's repertoire. But it was AMAZING!!! In a little over an hour, I saw some amazing highlights, including the Alamo, along with tons of great info about all of it. What a historic city! I need to revisit a few things in the daylight, but the evening lights were so awesome.
And yes, the Segway is truly easy to learn. In less than 5 minutes, I was actually comfortable. It was so hard to WALK back to the hotel as I was so spoiled to be able to zip around!
I still have lots more to post about leadership so keep checking back. Off to regionals this morning for more stamping!
Look who I met this morning!!! And I was the only one in Starbucks this morning who knew who he is!!!! ESPN 24/7 finally pays off!!! That's what happens when you're raising 3 boys...

I learned from Carrie Cudney today that when shopping, men look for a good solution while women want the perfect answer. How true that is!!!!

One of the highlights of any stampin' up! event is the bag they give us. I'm thrilled that this one is "all me!" if only it was pink... :-)
I'm finally here in San Antonio! It's leadership time and I'm hoping to learn a lot. But these fun flowers were made by my roommate Loree - a new friend! Off to stamp and swap!!!

Another class I'm taking online is from Jessica Sprague called "Up and Running" (see Jessica Sprague's website for classes) which is going to refresh my Photoshop Elements skills (I've never quite gotten them refined, and while I LOVE My Digital Studio, I have a few projects that will require design elements that Stampin' Up! doesn't currently have, and luckily I can use Stampin' Up!'s design elements in Photoshop Elements!). Anyway, here's my first project from the class:
I've been dying to scrap these two photos, and this was the perfect opportunity! Now to get it printed...
