Well, some of you know that my middle son has been trying out for the Freshman high school baseball team. He's worked so hard for it! The past two weeks have been incredibly stressful in our house, but he's been looking pretty good - no guarantees, though. Now, yesterday he was playing basketball with friends - a very common occurrence here - and he landed wrong and twisted his ankle. Swollen foot and ankle, lots of Advil, ace bandage, crutches, everything but the X-ray. Ugh! Needless to say, life isn't as pleasant right now as it should be. He'll speak to the coach and trainer tomorrow...
Enough about me, here's another card!
This is an easel card - you can find lots of samples out there. I kept it simple for the girls by keeping the bottom portion (actually the inside of the card) with a message from Whimsical Words, one of the Sale-a-bration sets that are still available until the end of this month. Colors are Brocade Blue, Close to Cocoa, Garden Green and Whisper White. To make this a standard sized card to fit in an A2 envelope, use a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock, fold it in half the long way, then fold the card front BACK in half. Adhere a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece directly over it. I don't have photos of the steps, but if you need more info, please email me and I'll pull something together!
